The Belvedere, Transformation of a Woody Point Icon

Rohrig recently completed a major renovation and extension of the iconic Belvedere in Redcliffe, revitalising the 122-year-old local favourite for generations to come.

The popular Lewis Land Group owned hotel is back, better than ever before, with a new rooftop bar offering panoramic views of the ocean looking west – to rival the best!

Whether visiting for a sunset cocktail, formal dining experience or family pub-style meal, the revamped Belvedere offers a bayside oasis like never before.

Patrons are welcomed into the inviting courtyard by a large olive tree, which can also be viewed from the stunning terrace above, and an extra 350 seats aim to keep up with growing demand.

During sunset, the ocean is reflected onto the terrace’s glistening white roof offering a pavilion-style bar experience perfect for your next celebration.

With renewed popularity has come the need for more staff, with The Belvedere also offering an additional 150 jobs for the growing Redcliffe region.

KP Architects dreamed up the exquisite design, maintaining the ‘old Queenslander’ aesthetic while offering a fresh twist that takes The Belvedere to new heights as one of the state’s premier pubs.

We are proud to have worked on this project, having raised and extended the existing building while also renovating the gaming room, public bar, sunset dining area, rooftop terrace and kitchen.

We also undertook an aesthetic refurbishment of the pavilion, as well as extending the car park to cater for increased patronage.
