Waverly College – Science Classrooms
We recently completed refurbishment works at Waverley College in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, making use of under-utilised space and improving school facilities.
Works included converting an existing canteen into a junior science room, as well as the refurbishment of a bathroom, classroom, office and library within the senior school.
PMDL Architecture designed the refurbished rooms, featuring elements like curved bench tops and hexagonal shelving, all designed to complement the school’s existing colour palette and design theme.
We were able to utilise existing timber flooring during the refurbishment, laying new hardboard and saving the client time and money. The project was also completed ahead of schedule, and we were also able to undertake the majority of works on school holidays to minimise disruption.
We have previously undertaken work at Waverley College and the client engaged us directly for this project, allowing us to showcase the Rohrig Difference by offering cost savings and an early completion date.
- Completed: 2023
