The Belvedere

Rohrig is proud to have undertaken a major renovation and extension of the iconic Belvedere Hotel in Redcliffe, revitalising the 122-year-old pub.

KP Architects designed the exquisite new hotel, maintaining the ‘Queenslander’ aesthetic while offering a fresh and modern twist that elevates the pub to new heights.

We raised and extended the existing building, maintaining its character while expanding trading capabilities, and renovated the gaming room, public bar, sunset dining area, rooftop terrace and kitchen.

While not originally planned, the client seized the opportunity to also undertake an aesthetic refurbishment of the pavilion, as well as extending the car park to cater for increased patronage.

Key features include a large olive tree within the inviting courtyard, which can be viewed from the terrace where a glistening white roof reflects the ocean – especially stunning during sunset.

The new venue offers something for everyone, where patrons want a laid-back alfresco experience or formal dining, while the various seating areas offer a better view of the bay than ever before.

Our team worked closely with the client to allow the venue to trade during initial works to the old building, while also keeping the pavilion operational throughout works to the main hotel.
