2021 is the 30 year anniversary for the Rohrig Group
Excavation completed at Hills International College!
Since starting the project, the site team has prepped the grounds for the new HPE Centre at Hills International College. The initial phase saw comprehensive site clearance, setting up for the construction of the new multipurpose court, amenities, change rooms, and five beach volleyball courts. With bulk excavation concluded, the team will begin prepping the multipurpose and beach volleyball courts for the slab pours.
Level 1 prepped ready for concrete at Canterbury College!
Our site team has reached a project milestone by successfully completing the final slab pour for the new Junior School Hub Building. With the slab now in place and columns established for the covered outdoor learning area, the team will now commence work on the roof, followed by the internal fit-out phase. Designed by Wilson Architects, the Bareibunn Precinct is to become the vibrant home for Canterbury College’s junior students.
Send off at St Edmund’s College!
In recognition of our site team’s final day on campus, our foreman was honoured to receive a send-off from staff and students at the College. This marks the end of an extensive project that has revitalized nearly every corner of the school grounds. We extend our thanks to St Edmund’s College community as they now embark on a new chapter in their revitalised campus.

The KP Architects team has received a commendation at the Greater Brisbane region Australian Institute of Architecture Awards. The Rohrig team are proud to have constructed this outstanding project transforming this Redcliffe pub into a local icon.
The Jubilee Hotel - seamlessly blending heritage features with modernity.
In refurbishing the Jubilee Hotel, we preserved the 134-year-old heritage-listed pub while integrating a contemporary extension. Restoring the heritage-listed section to its former glory involved meticulous efforts, including the restoring the original brickwork to its natural state. Concurrently, we added an extension to the original structure, effectively doubling the venue’s capacity. The result is a harmonious fusion of heritage and cutting-edge design, making it one of Brisbane’s stand out venues.

With finishing touches in full swing and the School moving in, students will soon be able to experience the new space. Working with EPM Projects and Gardner Wetherill Architects, the building caters to both senior and junior students, alongside providing a dedicated staff room.
The NSW team recently gathered for their first social club event of the year, enjoying a round of golf. Despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the team enjoyed spending some quality time together building relationships outside the confines of the job site.
The Science Centre at Ormiston College was a special project for the Rohrig Team, having built the original Science Centre during our first year of business in 1991. The original building stood the test of time and provided an inspiring learning environment, so it was an honour to be welcomed back to take the school into the future. The new Science Centre offers unparalleled opportunities for aspiring STEM students and educators.
