From Concept to Construction: Kado Residences Progresses
The Rohrig team is excited to share a progress update on Kado Residences Palm Beach, a luxury retirement development on the Gold Coast. The building is now well underway, and completion is set for early 2027.
Delivered for The Kado Group, the development will offer a rare collection of 28 high-end residences across seven levels, just a stone’s throw from one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic beaches.
The completed building will feature spacious two and three bedroom apartments, an underground carpark, and a suite of premium common areas. It will also offer a dedicated wellness space boasting a mineral pool, salt room, infrared sauna, hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, red-light therapy bed, and more.
This is one of our design and construct projects, with the Rohrig team delivering the schematic and detail design development phases, full construction issue documentation, coordinated council approvals, and ongoing design management services.
This collaborative D&C approach has allowed our team to work hand-in-hand with The Kado Group from the earliest stages to refine the design, navigate approvals, and shape a building that brings the developer’s vision for a refined, wellness-focused community to life.
“Rohrig’s early involvement through the design and construct process has been invaluable, bringing expertise, collaboration and certainty from the outset. It’s exciting to see the vision for Kado Residences Palm Beach now becoming a reality”, says Mark Bindon, Kado Group’s Co-Founder and Executive Director.
Physical construction is now ramping up at the Palm Beach site, with our team recently completing both the basement slab and level one pours. This marks a significant milestone, with the building now beginning to take shape.
From here, our team will progress floor by floor, before moving into facade works, internal fit-out, and the detailed finishes that will take the boutique residences to completion.
“Kado Residences Palm Beach is a really exciting project for the Gold Coast community, and watching this design and construct project progress is incredibly rewarding,” said Rohrig Construction Manager Ben Dyhrberg.
“The basement was a critical phase, and now that the foundation is complete, the building will take shape quickly. Our team is laser-focused on delivering the level of quality and finish that this high-end development demands — and we won’t settle for anything less.”
At Rohrig, we pride ourselves on building innovative spaces that will stand the test of time. We look forward to sharing more updates as Kado Residences Palm Beach progresses.
