Refurbishment of heritage-listed building and new retail

This church on the south side of the Brisbane River was built in 1887 to save local residents from crossing the river for Sunday services.

Renovating the heritage building with its stained-glass windows, bell-tower and pipe organ was an interesting project for the Rohrig team. There were also some practical additions to be constructed on the site, including a new community space and four retail spaces to generate income for the church. Landscaping, street-scaping and carpark completed the project.

Rohrig worked closely with the architect to finalise design and colours and gave the client great value with negotiated trade packages.
