Construction of tennis courts

This exterior project followed on from Rohrig’s classroom refurbishments for the college. It involved two multi-purpose tennis courts and a car park on a site where we had to solve drainage and water retention challenges from overland stormwater flow.

Rohrig designed the tennis courts in close collaboration with the school to ensure they would meet current and future needs. Our design identified savings in slab design and specifications while creating the right space for the heavy-use from students.

As always, we had very strict safety standards while working in a school environment with student activity close by.
