Extensive new student and staff facilities

This project, in two stages, involved demolishing an existing building and constructing a canteen, café, teachers’ kitchen, learning-enrichment rooms, administration areas plus primary and senior library areas.

The new area around the café was envisaged as an important focal point for the college and required high quality finishes. Rohrig also undertook the food and beverage service design to achieve the best aesthetics, pedestrian flows and layout.

The extensive project in two stages meant part of the works were undertaken in term-time when services and safety had to be maintained for the rest of the college.

The new facilities were designed by Wilson Architects.
