The project encompassed the demolition of 50% of the hotel to make way for the Dan Murphy's, the refurbishment of the remaining areas of the venue, and the completely new build of an adjacent Dan Murphy's superstore.

Working in a live operational environment is often part and parcel of a construction project. At Rohrig, we specialise in working with our clients, consultants and contractors to ensure business can continue with minimal impact on the day to day operations of the venue. This project was no exception. The Golfview Hotel continued to trade right throughout the construction program, and the inconvenience to patrons was minimised.
Our clients are always impressed with our focus on details and being outstanding to the last 5% of the project as well as being fully engaged throughout the transition to client operation. David Gorman, the Project Coordinator for Dan Murphy's New South Wales, reaffirmed this and commented that 'the team at Rohrig have been exceptional'.
Rohrig continues to undertake major construction projects with the ALH Group, including more recently the multi-award winning renovation for the Crows Nest Hotel in Sydney completed in June 2016, and the major upgrade of the Dog and Parrot Hotel which is currently underway.
