Rohrig’s recent transformation of the Redcliffe RSL has created new opportunities for the Club to continue to build its patronage.
Designed by BSPN Architects, the new facilities include a new and larger upper bistro, dining area and outdoor balcony as well as a full refurbishment to the club foyer, offices and gaming area. This was the first major upgrade to the venue since Rohrig completed their last renovation in 2014.
Working in a live club environment is no small construction challenge. Like all Rohrig projects, this one was carefully staged to ensure business as usual for the Redcliffe RSL, and minimal disruption to staff and patrons. Even with the existing roofline being lifted to allow for extension, the Club remained operational and water tight without exception.
Furthermore, the gaming room works were completed in a 72 hour non-stop period so that downtime and the impact to the club including its gaming members was minimised.
In our commitment to add further value to our clients via insight and service, we identified a cost saving opportunity for the Redcliffe RSL by sourcing an alternate lightweight material for the decorative trusses, which in turn reduced the overall support structure.

The new fresh facilities have received glowing reviews from the owners and members. The refurbishment and expansion ensures the Club can service the needs of their members with fresh and modern facilities well into the future.
